My opinion is that whoever sent this needs to read What I Do more carefully.

I have them blocked. I really do. And it’s not because their roleplay is awful or anything, I’m just so terrified of going on their page after seeing promo graphics of, like, headless people and all this gore and shit. I’m also a very strong believer that a roleplay should have rp or rpg in their URL, so there’s that. Uhm, I’m not a huge fan of their graphics, but this RP is definitely unique. It’s a bit too dark on the war side for me, but there’s obviously lots of people who like it.

Anonymous said:  opinion on initium finis?

I will never understand why people ask for opinions of roleplays that are on my rec list. My only criticism is about the number of characters. Considering this is the best Riddle Era RP out there right now, the size limit is a bit aggrevating. I’d also really like to see Tom as a playable character. But everything else is spectacular. The graphics are gorgeous — though I don’t quite understand the sidebar? — and the plot is perfect for this era.

REALISTIC FC COMBINATIONS FOR PARENTS
Again, this isn’t exactly a guide, so let’s clear that up right away. This is more of a couple of suggestions for FCs for the parents of the Trio Era characters who could sufficiently pass for being the parents of the actors in the movies. This will account for the traditional Marauders Era age differences - eg Molly and Arthur being the same year and Lucius and Narcissa having two years difference - and will give a couple different ages for couples in the same year like James and Lily. Enjoy, and feel free to send in more suggestions!
Harry Potter ☛ Please be aware that most of these Lily FCs do not have green eyes. I went more based on hair color and facial structure, so I do apologize.
For a fifth year Jily pairing, my first choice would be Liliana Mumy and Graham Phillips. Liliana’s eyes look greenish in some pictures, as do Grahams, and Graham’s more square face makes up for the longer bone structure of Liliana’s. My second and third choices would be Jaqueline Emerson and Cody Christian, followed by Yara Pilartz and Ian Nelson.
Moving into the sixth year, my first pick for FCs would have to be Jenna Thiam and Shane Harper. While I know Jenna has blue eyes, she has a strikingly similar jaw to Daniel’s, and Shane and Daniel share a nose. Second choice is Jane Levy and Gregg Sulkin, and then lastly we have Ciara Baxendale and Logan Lerman.
For the most anticipated seventh year pairing, my absolute first choice is Holland Roden and Nicholas Hoult. I actually struggled to find any second or third choices, so I’m not as pleased with these, but have them anyway. They are Danielle Panabaker and Aaron Johnson, followed by Mary Kate Wiles and Adam Brody. Have Ebba Zingmark and Gaspard Ulliel as a fourth choice, just for the hell of it.
I decided to throw in a post-Hogwarts casting as well, since those are always fun to do. So you have Amy Wren and Ian Harding as my first pick, followed by Alison Sudal and Matt Bomer as my second and last choice. If you desperately want to use Karen Gillan, she would go here, not anywhere else, and you could put her with Julian Morris.
Draco Malfoy ☛ Tom Felton is so gorgeous, isn’t he? Here are a couple of options as to who could play his parents. Now, please keep in mind that Narcissa and Lucius are normally two years apart in RPs, so I’ll be giving you choices for Narcissa in her fifth year while Lucius is in his seventh, one with Narcissa in her seventh where Lucius is 20-ish, and one where they’re both out of Hogwarts.
The in-Hogwarts one is always the most fun, isn’t it? So let’s see, I absolutely love Hunter King as a fifth year Narcissa, and she looks a lot like Tom. So we’ll pair her with Jake Abel and call it my first choice. My second choice would have to be Gabriella Wilde with Alex Pettyfer, followed by Dakota Fanning with Jamie Campbell Bower or Hunter Parrish. Now, call me crazy, but you could also get away with using either Katelyn Tarver or Peyton List for probably any of those three matches. For this one, you really can just mix and match.
Okay, I had a hell of a time finding post-Hogwarts FCs for Lucius, so just use either Boyd Holbrook or Alex Pettyfer across the board, yeah? But for a seventh year Narcissa, my first choice is definitely Amber Heard. I know some people are probably getting really upset now - Amber Heard and Alex Pettyfer, really? - but they’re popular for a reason. Overused isn’t always a bad thing. Second choice for Cissa is Katie Cassidy, and Brittany Snow or Tiffany Thornton could work as well.
And now we have Lucius in his mid-20s and Narcissa fresh out of Hogwarts. Well, almost. Maybe 20 or 21. Let’s try Julianne Hough with Boyd Holbrook, maybe? Again, just mix and match the FCs here. I do like that pairing though. I also like Emily Kinney as Cissy, along with Samaire Armstrong and Rachel McAddams. For Lucius, I had Derek Hough and Leonardo DiCaprio as well.
Neville Longbottom ☛ Ah, Neville. Kicking serious ass while wearing a sweater. One of the best characters in the series, honestly. So let’s not get his casting wrong, shall we? First of all, let’s remember that book!Neville is blonde, so I’ll be casting Alice as blonde in all of these.
My first choice for a fifth year Alice is definitely Indiana Evans, and then I’m going to pair her up with Nicholas Braun for a sixth year Frank. This pair could do a year older as well, depending on the rest of your casting choices. Second choice for this age range, who could also work a year older, is Saorise Ronan and Xavier Samuel. Willow Shields and Daniel Sharman might work here as well.
Moving up one year, I quite like Skyler Samuels and Josh Peck. Second choice is Elizabeth Olsen and Jackson Rathbone, followed by Ayla Kell and Grant Gustin. This one was surprisingly simple.
Last pairing is Alice in her seventh year and Frank freshly graduated. My first pick is Imogen Poots and Sam Claflin. Second choice couple is Amanda Seyfried and Paul Wesley, followed by Candice Accola and Matthew Gray Gubler.
Luna Lovegood ☛ Alright, I’m going to warn you right now that 90% of my choices for Xeno are going to be Jamie Campbell Bower, even if they’re not listed. The main reason for that is Rhys Ifans, who played Xeno in the movies, has played an older version of Jamie before — see Anonymous, I’m telling you — and it fits really well. Also, this one is going to be a bit different, since we know next to nothing about Luna’s mom. I’m just going to go year by year and give general suggestions, and you can pair FCs up based on your needs.
If you just want me to pick a couple for you, my absolute first choice is Ginny Gardner and Jamie Campbell Bower.
For fifth year, I mainly have suggestions for Mrs. Lovegood. I do have quite a few choices, though, in no particular order: Ana Mulvoy-Ten, Danielle Bradbery, Gemma Ward, Janet Devlin, and Stefanie Scott. For Xeno, I do like Kenton Duty.
For sixth year, I like Ginny Gardner and Mary Kate Olsen for Mrs. Lovegood, and Riker Lynch as Xeno. Now, Cameron Mitchell and Benjamin Stone could work as well, but their hair is a bit darker, so keep that in mind.
Moving into seventh year, I have Allison Harvard, Amanda Seyfried, Bella Heathcote, Mia Wasikowska, and Nina Burns for Mrs. Lovegood. And for Xeno, my first choice is obviously Jamie Campbell Bower, but RJ King and Jake Abel could work as well.
Ron Weasley and co. ☛ This is going to be a real toughie, since you have Ron, the twins, Bill, Percy, and Ginny. And Molly and Arthur are both ginger. Oof. Here goes nothing, yeah? For most of these you’re only going to get once choice, if that, since my list of potential Arthur FCs is only eight long to start with.
For fifth year, I actually really love Gabriel Basso and Sophie Turner. Like, this is kind of perfect. If you’re not sold, though, Sean Berdy and Molly Quinn is a good match, as is Cameron Monaghan and Jacqueline Emerson.
Going into sixth year, Caleb Landry Jones and Jane Levy is the way to go, I think. Adam Hicks and Brittany Snow could potentially work as well.
For seventh year, really the only option I have for you is Eddie Redmayne and Emma Stone. Holland Roden could work as Molly as well, but it’s pushing it a bit.
And for a post-Hogwarts couple, I have down Ed Sheeran and Isla Fisher. Amy Adams — of course — could work as well, as could Kate Mara.
Nymphadora Tonks ☛ Even though Nymphadora is a metamorphamagus, we do have a basic idea of what she looks like — brown hair and blue eyes to start — and this should help with casting both Ted and Andromeda. I’ll also be referring back to my castings for Narcissa for this so they match up as well. I normally put Ted a year above Andromeda, so I’m looking at the fifth year Narcissa suggestions for this one, and you’re only going to get one year’s worth of suggestions.
This is going to be broken up by fifth year Narcissa suggestions, so I’ll start with Hunter King. I think Kacey Rohl and Hunter Parrish is my first choice here, but that’s not saying much since I like Jemima West and Xavier Samuel just as much. If you’re not sold on either of those, Emilia Clarke and Dean Geyer is my third pick.
Next is Gabriella Wilde. I really like Emmy Rossum and Daniel Sharman, so choice number one. If you’d like an Andromeda with blue eyes, try Liz Gillies and Aaron Johnson, or Alexandra Daddario with Colton Haynes.
Moving ahead, we have Dakota Fanning. Here’s where I’m probably going to start reusing suggestions. If you like the traditional Kaya Scodelario and Hunter Parrish for Andromeda and Ted, then use Dakota as Narcissa. If you like Dakota and aren’t sold on those two, though, I also like Kacey Rohl with Dean Geyer and India Eisley with Xavier Samuel.
Up next is Katelyn Tarver. I think here my first choice is Anna Popplewell with Colton Haynes, followed by Kaya Scodelario with Xavier Samel and Emmy Rossum with Aaron Johnson.
Last is Peyton List. I like Emilia Clarke with Xavier Samuel for her, and then Jemima West with Aaron Johnson is my second choice. Third and last pick of all is Kaya Scodelario and Dean Geyer.

I really, really hope this helped at least a bit! This took literally hours to put together, but I do think it was worth it. Please like or reblog if it helped, and feel free to send an ask my way about suggestions for any other Marauders Era FCs!

Though not quite as familiar as the story of their children, the tale of the infamous Marauders is a well-known one. However, what would happen if the tale were to change? The last few pages of the book ripped out and burned, and the characters within sent scrambling to find a way to have the happy ending they never could before. With no set ending and nowhere to go but greener pastures, this tale has been given a new beginning. All that’s set is the year - 1977 - the setting - Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry - and the fact that it’s the Marauders’ last year of school and everyone in their class is determined to go out with a bang. We wish you the best of luck, and, most importantly, have fun.
